Staying at the hotel was convenient due to its great location next to Uppsala train station and within 10 minutes walk to the city center. The rooms were dated with old decor reminiscent of a Scandic hotel from 20 years ago, making them feel in desperate need of renovation. However, the hotel charging extra for a 1/2 hours early check-in seemed unnecessary. The service was exemplary with extremely friendly staff and even personalized dinner options, but the dining experience fell short with limited breakfast options that only started at 9AM.
